An equipment which is quite similar to the ejector but involves incompressible liquid-liquid system. A stream of high velocity liquid is used to pump another liquid to a higher pressure or it could be employed for liquid-liquid mixing purposes. The equipment is often employed in the oil industry for blending of liquid streams to final product specification. Based on the in-house development efforts successful commercial design of several units have been performed by EIL.
