New Delhi, August 15, 2026: Engineers India Ltd. (EIL) celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India on August 15, 2026 with great patriotic zeal and fervor.
The celebrations commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Shri Atul Gupta, C&MD, EIL, at Engineers India Bhawan, New Delhi, and EIL Office Complex, Gurugram, in the presence of Shri Sanjay Jindal, Director (Finance), Shri Rajiv Agarwal, Director (Technical), Shri Subhas Balakumar, Director (Projects), and Shri Rupesh Kumar Singh, Director (HR), along with senior officials of the Company. The programme was attended in large numbers by employees and their families.
Addressing the gathering, C&MD extended his warm wishes on the momentous occasion of our Nation’s Independence Day. He highlighted EIL’s continued efforts and commitment towards advancing the Government of India’s flagship initiatives and strengthening India’s journey towards global leadership through Local to Global, indigenous technology and designs, PM Gati Shakti, Green Economy, and advanced technical capabilities and engineering excellence.
He called upon Team EIL to collectively contribute towards the Company’s growth, guided by its five-pillar strategy of Business Growth & Diversification, Operational Excellence coupled with Project Management prowess, Technical Excellence and Innovation, Digital Transformation and Human Excellence. He emphasised that these strategic pillars are aligned with the national vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, and will progressively enhance EIL’s capabilities, foster indigenous solutions and accelerate the Company’s contribution towards nation-building.
He also underscored the importance of employee health and wellbeing, encouraging Team EIL to give due attention to physical fitness, health and wellness, including the practice of Yoga, as an integral part of maintaining a healthy and productive workforce.
The patriotic fervor of the occasion was accentuated by a medley of soulful renditions of patriotic songs and dance performances by EIL family members. On the occasion, C&MD and Directors also gave away Annual Awards for 2025-26, celebrating the outstanding performance and contributions of EILians across diverse categories.
